GREWIP Project:
Great Red Euganean Wines Improvement Project – CUP B99H25000050009

DESCRIPTION OF THE OPERATION:
The GREWIP project aims to improve the quality of great red wines from the Euganean Hills, becoming a benchmark for enhancing the strategic positioning of Veneto wines. It adopts an interactive innovation model based on cooperation and participation, fostering a culture of excellence in viticulture within the Euganean Hills area, which underpins the development of high-quality red wine production.

OBJECTIVES

  • Improve the position of farmers within the value chain
Improving wine quality will enable agricultural producers to reposition their products in the market, targeting consumer segments that prioritize quality over quantity.
  • Enhance market orientation and increase the competitiveness of farms, both in the short and long term, including greater attention to research, technology, and digitalization
Quality improvement will allow producers to move toward market segments where traditional price-based competition is less significant.
